I truly love working with kids and want to share the wealth of knowledge that I’ve obtained through all of my years of playing high school, college, and professional football. All of the techniques and drills I use will be carefully explained, then demonstrated slowly, followed by the athlete actively using them. Using this technique, understanding that everyone learns differently, will allow all people the space and ability to learn the way they need. I know that most athletes will not have the opportunity to play college ball or professional ball, only 1% to be exact, but the skills and techniques being taught here are ones that will help them achieve the same high level skills, the skills of the ELITE athlete. It is a A BLUEPRINT MODEL, I say.

Hi,my name is Marquis and I’m from Greenville SC. I’ve been playing football all my life and experienced it on many different levels (High school, prep school, junior college, division ll-|||). I have played and trained with a variety of skilled athletes, from CFL players to Division 1-3 athletes, which has broadened my skills on and off the field. I provide personalized and group training for men and women looking to get fit or stay in shape. Whether it be weight loss, becoming more explosive, or just wanting to gain pure strength. I make sure each client achieves whatever fitness goals they come to Elite with.

Hey everyone! My personal fitness journey began at the age of 17, I was extremely overweight and struggled in every way. My famiy signed me up for personal training to help me get in healthier shape.... the results changed my life. Not only was I able to get in better shape and be healthy but it taught me how to grow stronger both physically and mentally. This is what inspired me to pursue my own career in personal training. I have been working in the fitness industry for over five years and have experience  in boxing and kick boxing workouts as well. My desire is to help people to achieve their goals whether that be by losing weight, gaining muscle, or just creating healthy habits.

Originally from Clemson, I grew up in Greenville, SC where I attended JL Mann high school. I was a four sport letterman in Track and Field, Baseball, Football, and Weightlifting. Earning 2nd place in the South Carolina teenage bench press competition and all region honors my senior year. I hold a Mini MBA Certificate from the Clemson Center for Corporate Learning, also hold certification in entrepreneurship technology from Harvard. I received my strength and conditioning certification for ISSA (International Sport Science Administration) and am currently studying for a professional program in strength and conditioning from FC Barcelona Innovation University. I am passionate about training youth athletes in sports performance helping them achieve their goals in and off the playing Fields.

I have been an athlete almost my entire life. I started playing organized basketball at age 12 and was a college and international basketball player. During my college basketball years at Kansas State University, I went from benching 175 lbs as a junior to 345 lbs as a senior and being able to leg press over 800 lbs. I love personal training, and above all, I love being able to help clients achieve their fitness goals. My workouts are tailored to the client's personal needs and abilities. They are great for clients trying to lose weight, tone their body, or gain strength, speed, agility, and endurance. Currently, I am an associate professor of pharmacology at Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy. Join the journey, have fun, and get fit.
